I was born in The Netherlands in 1968, smack bang in the middle of the Flower Power and the Sexual Revolution era, which made for an interesting childhood to say the least!
As I grew up, hippies made way for yuppies as I went through a period of deep grief as my mum died suddenly when I was 12. I was left confused, lost and lonely in a confused, lost and lonely world!
Skipping forward a bit (I honestly can't remember too much of my alcohol fuelled partying years!) and by the time I was in my mid twenties, I had moved to the UK and my son was born. I was in complete shock at the responsibilities of being a mum and it was as if I had not only lost my own mum all over again as I became ever more insecure at my 'skills' to be a parent, I had lost myself as well in a quest of being the perfect mum (ha ha ha, I now know they are like unicorns and exist only in our dreams!!). However, despite my 'make it up as I go along' parenting, I can proudly say that my son is in his thirties now and doing incredibly well (with his dad playing no small role in this).
As a family, we moved from the UK to Asia, where we lived a few years in Hong Kong and Malaysia and it was there that my search for 'me' really started. I had a spiritual awakening during this time but sadly, it did mean our marriage failed as I simply did not have the skills to handle all the changes in me.
I then spent a few years being independent and working as a single mum, trying to be a 'normal' person and in doing so, it figures that I gradually lost my newfound 'self' once more...
In my early 50's, another spiritual awakening led me deeply into the truth of who I am. This time I did not get 'lost' again as I now have a deep knowing of the one truth, a truth that is driving me to do what I do today.
I now have experienced a wonderful blend of the good, the bad and the very ugly that life has to offer, so that I am able to hold space for my fellow beautiful souls as they are finding their way through life and back to the truth of who they are.
My work is unique. I use an intuitive blend of spiritual coaching, quantum field exploration, energy work, meditation and talking trance therapy to name but a few. I have a very practical approach without any mumbo jumbo, magic wands or standard programmes.
The work I do is complex, yet simple and can't be learned from a book or a course. It is a culmination of years of study, self practice, spiritual awakenings and client experience. It is completely tailor-made to be effective for each client and I will meet you exactly where you are and guide you to where you want to be. You will know when the time is right and you are ready to go there...
Since completing my PhD, I have started writing my first book - watch this space!!
